It's too good to be true...EXACTLY
When I reflect on the actual way I got pregnant naturally vs. allllllll the hard, intensive, invasive procedures, tests and appointments we did when we were trying to get pregnant with IVF it almost seems crazy.
Too good to be true.
You’re telling me that I could accomplish what I thought I had to have medical procedures for in my kitchen by changing my diet?
YUP.
I wanted to write about this because lately I’ve been reflecting on how to communicate to you (women watching and listening to me) that you have all this power.
That what you’ve been told isn’t true.
That the natural way is SO GOOD and so much easier and it’s really that good of a deal.
I’ve been remembering how I felt years ago when this was me and what I would have needed to hear from a girl like me, telling me nothing was wrong with my body.
Here’s what I would tell myself. Here’s what I have to tell you:
It IS too good to be true and it’s meant to be this way. You’re not ever meant to struggle with your own body, with knowing how it works, with understanding it’s every cause and effect.
The biggest disservice is that health isn’t taught to you from the minute you could understand it. That because of marketing messages and money behind big corporations, your default belief lies in the false idea that your body isn’t working right, that’s something is wrong and that it’s not in your control.
But everything is in your control. Everything.
You’re the leader, your body follows.
Your food is the tool, the messenger between your desires and what your body can do.
The way I got it was immersion in knowledge and by daring to believe I could have my body feel amazing again, feel like myself again, AND have naturally balanced hormones, and restore fertility and get pregnant naturally, AND be able to take my own pregnancy test in my own bathroom without a blood test and a nurse calling me while I waited in my car in the Target parking lot.
And I jumped. I turned my back on needing someone or something outside of me to to fix me. I looked only to what I truly wanted. To do it myself.
You do this yourself.
You don’t need me beyond knowing exactly what’s off in your current fertility, deeply understanding the inner workings of your body and how you create fertility with food, and then you know. You know forever. And you get to have your body and your baby the way you really want.
Some of you might be familiar with Amanda Frances, it’s her one liner that is most fitting here:
“If it seems to good to be true, it’s what you DESERVE.”
You know where to find me.
