Grain Free Turkey Wraps
Honestly I'm obsessed with bibb (or Boston) lettuce leaves for most of my recipe 'wraps.' They are so flexible and pliable and don't leak....a very important thing for eating a wrap! But when you get the craving for something that a little more substance but still complies with grain free diets and absolutely GLUTEN FREE parameters, then you have to try out my fave new product from Siete brand.
Fair warning: you will become addicted to their products, these wraps AND their chips. You can check them out on Thrive Market here and save! Who knew someone could invent chips that are grain free and taste so good you want to eat the whole entire bag ALONE? ME!! I do, I do not like to share my healthy food, just ask my husband, I hide it in the cupboard :)
Back to the wraps: their ingredients: cassava flour, coconut flour, coconut oil, water, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, xantham gum. They also have almond flour varieties, look in the refrigerated wrap section at your grocery stores.
These wraps are great WITH the lettuce or just on their own. Also great straight out of the package or slightly warmed up.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 siete wrap per serving
- Bibb lettuce
- Salsa
- Avocado
- Organic shaved turkey (I order from the deli and make sure there's no sugar or preservatives in it)
- Pea shoots
- Chopped cucumbers
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat your burner to low and hold the wrap over with tongs, do NOT go away and leave it, this will only take a few seconds per side!
- Layer in lettuce, turkey and top with salsa, avocado, cucumbers and pea shoots
- Make some with lettuce or some with the siete grain free wraps!
Have you tried their products? Let me know in the comments if you are officially and HAPPILY addicted!
