AIR FRIED Garlic Parsley French Fries!

I love kitchen inventions. The first time I ever HEARD of such a miraculous thing as AIR FRIED French Fries I was in NYC for a mastermind and my biz bestie Kate and I went to a vegan place named Chloe before we had to head to the airport and they had air-fried sweet potato and regular fries!

Of course I ordered them. Fries and a salad is my favorite lunch ever. A really good salad of course, with loads of veggies. When they brought them out, they were warm and soft and just really good! And you know how amazing it is when you don’t have to think about the fryer full of fat and oil that is not so good for you when you order regular fries.

I found this lovely air fryer on Amazon, check it out here, a few months ago and FRIES has been our go-to in this baby.

Dalton asked me to make these this afternoon so I put him in his chair so he could help me make them. His job was to put the raw sliced potatoes in the bowl and then shake shake shake the dried parsley over them. We love green foods over here :)

Here’s the recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • As many russet potatoes as you want to make! I used a bunch and made a big batch! Probably 8 or so

  • Organic dried parsley

  • Organic dried garlic powder

  • Himalayan sea salt

  • Primal Kitchen avocado oil (about 2-3 tsp in the large mixing bowl per batch)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat airfryer to 400 F

  2. Wash potatoes, and slice lengthwise into thirds or more depending on how thick they are. Then slice lengths into more thinner slices.

  3. Add avocado oil, salt, garlic, parsley to bowl and mix. Add in all the cut potatoes

  4. Use your hands and toss potatoes into the oil mixture, add more seasonings/salt as you like

  5. In batches, add fries to the air fryer, they cook in about 20 minutes or less per batch, just don’t fill it too full. I typically open it up and shake them around about half way through!

Serve with organic marinara or sugar free ketchup!
