Blue Beauty Balls!

When you want something a little sweet….like me usually always every day :) It’s so nice when it’s also good for you!

I have been playing around with more recipes for you guys lately, especially things you can have on hand and recipe to go and grab and there’s definitely a place in your freezer and hearts for these little snack bites!

These recipes are so simple. You can do them all different ways but predominately you will need some DATES as the base. From there it’s up to you but my recipe today has only 4 ingredients plus a little water!

The “blue” part of these snacks is Beauty Shroom from Moon Juice, their vegan blue beauty protein powder and adaptogens blend. I personally love all things Moon Juice and love the blue tint to my smoothies and drink and recipes when I use it as well.

You don’t have to have this, but it’s one of my faves and is great for your skin! Grab yours here!

I don’t recommend many protein powders because you don’t NEED them, and when I do they are for sure safe of all NO LIST items, I’ve worked with clients who were DAILY consuming ingredients that were triggering inflammation in their bodies because of something in a protein powder so whatever you consume daily over and over really really counts and matters!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 dates, soaked in water for at least an hour

  • 1 cup of raw almonds

  • 2 scoops Moon Juice Blue Beauty Protein

  • Hemp seeds

  • Water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Soak dates in a bowl of water for at least an hour

  2. Pulse raw almonds in food processor or Vitamix until it becomes a powder

  3. Mix dates and half the water from the bowl with almond mixture

  4. Add a little more water IF you need to mix, I had to add a tiny amount and then take it all out of the Vitamix and mix by hand in my bowl.

  5. Add blue beauty powder to bowl and stir in by hand

  6. Use a spoon or ice cream scoop to divide then roll into balls in your hands (you can add a little water to your hands if you need NOT TOO MUCH THOUGH!)

  7. In a glass dish, add hemp seeds, roll balls around in them until covered.

  8. Move beauty balls into a clean glass container where they are not touching or squished together and freeze.

  9. Eat whenever you need a treat or snack or after dinner bite! NOTE: these would be super good PRE MEDITATION as dates help you access your intuition!
